 Winter Olympic Games

Now that the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024 are over, France is preparing for the Winter Olympics in the French Alps in 2030. After the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix in 1924, the Grenoble 1968 Winter Games, and the 1992 edition in Albertville, the nation will host the Winter Games for the fourth time. But Lappartient thinks it may take winter sports in France to new heights. Especially with the increased sporting excitement in the country.

Lappartient is hopeful that the 2030 Games might elevate French winter sports to new heights due to the huge success of Paris 2024.

Emphasis on Winning Medals

Some of the best mountain ranges and top ski resorts in the world may be found in France. “We must aim for medals in addition to organizing the event to the highest standards if we want to host a successful Games in 2030,” Lappartient stated.

He further added that our goal is to bring momentum from the Summer Games to the Winter Games. In certain areas, our team excels, while in others, we fall short. To stay competitive in every event and secure our place in the final medal rankings, we need to fix those weaknesses.
